Live, play and work in Greene County

We love Greene County, Virginia. We love living here. We love playing here. We love working here.

It’s nice to know that others who might want to join our little piece of paradise have an opportunity to do all three – live, play AND work in serene Greene County.

Let’s be honest. Living and playing is supported by working. If you can’t find work; everything else is a lot harder.

July’s unemployment ratings put Virginia fourth place from the lowest unemployment in the national with an rate of 3.2%. That compares with the national rate of 4.6%.

Greene County is doing even better. In fact, this last March, Greene had the lowest unemployment rating in the state.

Greene – March – Unemployment – 1.7%

Seems businesses are happy in Greene County and good business means more work. No surprise to us.

This Labor Day it’s nice to know most of our neighbors are able to work so they can live and play right here in our little heaven on earth – Greene County, Virginia.

Come visit. Stay awhile. Find out why time spent in serene Greene is a great time.

Life is good. Play is plentiful. And work is there to be had for those who want it.
